Check what is installed
Open Android Settings, find Sportzfy under Apps, and look for its version details. Record the version, where you originally obtained the file, and any settings you want to keep. A bigger number on another website does not by itself establish a newer legitimate release.
Check the replacement file
- Compare the publisher/source and package name with your installed copy.
- Check the release notes for compatibility changes before upgrading.
- Verify the download finished and compare its hash when a release record is available.
- A different signing certificate can prevent an in-place update. Do not interpret this as a reason to bypass Android’s checks.
Perform an in-place update
- Save important settings
Use an app-provided export or backup feature if one exists. Otherwise record your settings manually.
- Open the verified APK
Use the normal installer and read the prompt. Android should recognize an acceptable replacement package as an update.
- Check the result
After installation, verify the version in app settings. Check startup and the features you use before deleting your notes or backup.
If the update is rejected
A rejected update may involve a signature conflict, version downgrade, incomplete file, device incompatibility or security warning. Record the message and check the original source. Uninstalling may remove local data; it should not be the first troubleshooting step.
Before trying an older release
An older package may no longer connect to the service and can lack security fixes. A downgrade may require removing the current app and its data. We do not list old-version downloads without a verifiable file and source.
